Teaching Methods

A teaching method comprises the principles and methods used by teachers to enable student learning.
These strategies are determined partly by the subject matter to be taught, and partly by the nature of the
learner. For a particular teaching method to be appropriate and efficient, it has to be in relation to
the characteristic of the learner and the type of learning it is supposed to bring about. This course
covers very important topics in teaching methods, theories, and how to implement them in the real
life.

Objectives
There should be an analysis and selection of a teaching method appropriate to the training target
audience and the objectives. Instructors should adapt teaching methods that reach participants at all
skill or literacy levels, learning styles, and experiential levels. A diverse set of instructional strategies
should be adapted to address a full range of cognitive levels.
