This course covers an introduction, oil field processing, general review of
petroleum refining processes, crude oil composition, properties, and
processing. Short cut methods for product yields. Design of coking, cracking,
and reforming processes, gasoline and lubricating oil blending, environmental
issues, economics, and recent developments in refining.
